Shopping in Lucca


Lucca is a little shopping paradise. People from nearby towns come to Lucca with shopping in mind.

Lucca offers the best brands in fashion without the high-priced designer boutiques. Take time to look around. Many shops are location in historic locations.

The two commodities Lucca is famous for are shoes (ladies famously have at least "6 pairs of feet") and jewels. There are more jewellers than bakers here.

Your tour guide can be a source of information for anything you may be looking for.
More and more shops stay open all day, but most of them take a long siesta lunch time rest. Shops normally open from 9:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. (1 p.m.) and re-open at 15:30 (3:30 p.m.) until 19:30 (7:30 p.m.). In the summer, they usually reopen at 16:00 (4 p.m.) and remain open until 20:00 (8 p.m.)

Most shops are closed on Monday morning in Italy.
